Annual Bishops Appeal
Providing resources for Christian discipleship around the world.
It is that time again. Each year SPCK/USA reaches out to our Bishops appealing for funds that will help us respond to the many requests we have received. These requests come from churches in the Anglican Communion, from other denominations, from independent churches, and even from individuals who have discovered that they can seek a Bible from us when they cannot afford one.
SPCK’s ministry in Cuba plants small seeds and sends tiny graces. But Christ himself proved that even the smallest seed planted and the tiniest grace shared can cause profound change in the world. Just $100.00 – $200.00 sent to a congregation in Cuba can provide 30-40 kids with a week’s worth of Vacation Bible School. For many of these kids it is the first time they have ever heard the name Jesus Christ.
These small seeds SPCK plants spread to ministries around the world. Who knows what Jesus will do with the small seeds we sow and the tiny graces we share!
We will continue to fulfill our mission to “provide resources for Christian discipleship” and to seek to nourish the life of the Church, bringing people to a closer knowledge of Christ and encouraging them in mission.
I invite you to join us in planting small seeds and sending tiny graces. Please support the ministry of SPCK/USA during our Annual Bishop’s Appeal with your gift of $100.00 or more and visit our website www.spckusa.org or join our Facebook Group, SPCK/USA.
Blessings and thanks to you all for your prayers and support.
