A gift of over 200 books for SPCK/USA

About eight months ago Father Pope called me…he told me he wanted his library to go to SPCK/USA when he died. He had an Adopt-A-Seminary Brochure on which he wrote a note to his wife, “please see that my library goes to SPCK/USA…and send them $1.00 for every pound of books I have…” Last week his wife called…Father Pope had died and in his top desk drawer she found the brochure with his handwritten note. Last Monday his daughter, Nancy, brought his books to me in Sewanee…over 200 books, great theological books!
