Pope&#8217;s books at Sewanee.<\/p>\n<p>About eight months ago Father Pope called me&#8230;he told me he wanted his library to go to SPCK\/USA when he died. He had an Adopt-A-Seminary Brochure on which he wrote a note to his wife, <em>&#8220;please see that my library goes to SPCK\/USA&#8230;and send them $1.00 for every pound of books I have&#8230;&#8221;<\/em> Last week his wife called&#8230;Father Pope had died and in his top desk drawer she found the brochure with his handwritten note.
