231 Theological Books on Their Way to Lay Training Center in the Anglican Diocese of Manicaland in Zimbabwe

The Revs Titus Presler and Jane Presler Butterfield are leaving July 28th for Zimbabwe.  With them they will be taking 231 more theological books for Mildred Mbwando in the Diocese of Manicaland.  This brings the total of theological books shipped to THe Anglican Diocese of Manicaland Lay Training Center to over 330.  The prayer of SPCK/USA and it’s donors is that these books will help to fulfill the mission statement of the Lay Training Center, “Boost the vibrancy of the Anglican Diocese of Manicaland by training the laity, ordinands, and the ordained ministers according to their various needs so as to increase their faith in Christ, enhance their efficiency and competence in executing the duited entailed in their various callings.”  May Christ’s presence and Spirit be present with the staff and faculty at LTC, especially Mildred Mbwando, Principal Tutor.  (The shipping costs of these books is being underwritten by the Class of 2006, Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest.)
