Spanish Prayer Books & 1982 Hymnals Sent to Church of the Good Shepherd, Vidalia, LA

Several months ago SPCK/USA received a phone call from Deacon Jim Benbrook, Deacon-in-Charge of The Church of Good Shepherd.  He was looking for Spanish Prayer Books and 1982 Hymnals.   During Deacon Benbrook’s seminary years at the School of Theology Sewanee, TN, he worked with SPCK/USA’s Adopt-A-Seminary Program.  He knew that from time to time we would receive Spanish resources.  Over the past months as books arrived we would set aside a 1982 Hymnal here, a Spanish Prayer Book there.  Today SPCK/USA was able to ship to the Church of Good Shepherd three copies of El Libro de Oracion de Comun, six copies of Common Prayer/Oracion Comun, and three 1982 Hymnals.  The generosity of donors to the Adopt-A-Seminary Program made this gift possible.

Requests come in weekly to SPCK/USA for Spanish Christian Education materials, Prayer Books, and theological books.  Spanish resources are always welcome and needed!
