2,600 Theological Books for The Institute for Worship Studies

Several weeks ago SPCK/USA trustee, The Rev Canon Kurt Dunkle, rector of Grace Episcopal Church in Orange Park, FL called to ask the Adopt-A-Seminary program of SPCK to help begin the formation of a new library. Grace Episcopal Church is the host facility for The Institute for Worship Studies. The Institute was founded by Dr Robert E Webber, well known author and teacher in the field of Christian worship and offers degrees in Master of Worship Studies (M.W.S.) and Doctor of Worship Studies (D.W.S.).

Within days Dr Jim Hart, Provost, of The Institute for Worship Studies, arrived at the SPCK/USA warehouse with a rental truck and after two full days of selecting and packing, was able to choose over 2,580 theological books for the new library.

Dr Hart wrote the following to the Executive Director of SPCK/USA, “Thankyou, Patti Joy, for your servant’s heart and desire to give abundantly to the Kingdom. It was wonderful to meet you and Dick. The Lord be with you. Jim Hart.”
