1940 Hymnals & 1928 Prayer Books Find New Home

When the Executive Director of SPCK/USA, who is also the President of DOK in the Diocese of Tennessee, met with the Daughters of the King at St Michael’s Anglican Church in Gallatin, TN she learned they were in need of 1940 Hymnals and 1928 Prayer Books. The SPCK/USA Adopt-A-Seminary warehouse had a supply of both and one of the members of St Michael’s offered to help with the shipping expenses. Several weeks later 40 hymnals and prayer books were on their way to St Michael’s. SPCK received the following note:

“I just picked up the hymnals and prayer books from SPCK/USA at the post office. We are GRATEFUL beyond measure. You really do not know how much your support means to us. Thank you so much.”

SPCK/USA is grateful to Thankful Memorial in Chattanooga, TN for donating the 1928 Prayer Books.
